Mona Sloane, Ph.D., is a sociologist and leading scholar of artificial intelligence, technology policy, and the social impacts of digital systems. As an Assistant Professor of Data Science and Media Studies at the University of Virginia and director of Sloane Lab, she studies how AI is reshaping institutions, workplaces, and everyday life.
