Dear Heavenly Father, My existence on this Earth is dedicated to praising You through Your beloved Son, Christ Jesus. You have carried me through countless trials and allowed me to bear witness to the depths of human experience. I humbly implore You to open my heart, mind, soul, and spirit, enabling me to guide others through the intricate journey of life. You, the Author and Redeemer of my faith, have initiated a profound transformation through my writing, and I am eternally grateful. I pray that this writing journey, which began in 2018, will resonate with the world and inspire faith in the hearts of many. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen. In the midst of this journey, I must express my deep appreciation for my remarkable husband, Steve, and our precious children, Jasmine-27, Alex-17, Jeremiah-15, and Little Steven-8. Their unwavering support and love enrich my life in countless ways. I cherish each of you. Steve, I am eternally grateful for the incredible journey of self-discovery you've helped me undertake. Your unwavering faith, first in our Heavenly Father and then in me, has never gone unnoticed. Your steadfast support means the world to me, and I want you to know that I cherish and love you deeply, now, and forevermore. It's essential to clarify that I am not a counselor or a psychiatrist. Instead, I am a devoted believer who listens to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I trust that God has chosen me to convey His messages through writing, and I am profoundly thankful for His divine inspiration. My writing journey commenced in 2018 when I began receiving a series of profound insights and outlines. These ideas were tucked away, waiting for the right moment. Although I penned my first book, "Your Purpose, HIS Will: 7 Effective Ways to Fundraise for your Nonprofit", I still felt unfulfilled. People suggested turning it into a business, but my true calling was elsewhere. Life unfolded, and my writings were stowed away. However, God had a different plan. Five years later, while my husband and I were running a gym, I still felt the stirring of unfulfilled purpose. Then, the Holy Spirit reminded me that I could reach the world with the ideas He gifted me. It was this revelation that led to the birth of "Flourishing After the Fire." This story was birthed from the pain of witnessing women trapped in domestic violence. My heart aches for anyone enduring such agony. Empathy for others courses through my veins, compelling me to write this story—to assure every individual that hope prevails and a brighter future is attainable through unwavering faith. I want to commend the strength and resilience of every person who presses on after enduring domestic violence. Your determination is inspiring, but remember, your safety and that of your children should always come first. May the guidance of the Holy Spirit illuminate your path.
