Nancy Huber was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1966 by a German father and an East-Prussian mother. Because of her parents' restlessness, she grew up in Canada and Germany, moving many times. It was in grade 5 in Germany, when a Bestselling author visited her classroom. Burning to meet the author, Nancy ran to the front, telling the writer that she herself will be an author when grown up. Nancy Huber married and raised four children first, before taking a hand to writing her first novel. She now lives in northern British Columbia, raising chickens and goats and running a successful dog care and grooming business. And often you will find the author sitting behind her laptop, her fingers flying restlessly over the keyboard.
