Natalie Normann grew up in a small shipping town on the west-coast town in Norway. She wanted to be a writer as soon as she realised that books were written by real people. Her debut novel was published in Norwegian in 1995. She has been published in Swedish and Danish. Since 2007 she has written Historical Romance in Norwegian and recently published her 60th book.
Summer Island is her first book in English.
