Nella Coiro is an author and a poet. She had to overcome much adversity and many challenges in her own life, and her main purpose in life is to help others by sharing her experiences, and hopefully inspiring others, and assisting them in finding their inner strength. Since is currently on dialysis and hopes to eventually receive a kidney transplant, she works as a peer mentor to help others touched by kidney disease, and support them on their challenging journeys. She is also a talented musician, and enjoys painting, sitcoms, crossword puzzles, and she loves animals. Nella lives in NY with her husband Kenny, and their rescue hound, Alex.
