I'm a Renaissance Man. When I'm not writing, I'm either fighting crime, teaching or learning martial arts, being a horror host, DJ'ing for the University of Notre Dame's college rock show, attending minor and major league baseball games, watching B-movies, reading, traveling, cooking, walking the dog, playing with the cat, or flirting with my wife. I often do several of these at the same time. I write because I have to get all these stories out of my head. I love creating new characters and worlds and taking readers on enjoyable journeys. I know that sounds trite and hackneyed, but it's true.
