Patrick Amoresano is a retired trial attorney residing in Belmar, New Jersey. His father introduced him to Notre Dame football when he was 13 yrs. old. Though Pat did not attend Notre Dame, by the grace of God he was blessed to witness two of his kids earn undergraduate degrees there. So he's a proud Double-Domer dad, and a dedicated member of the “subway alumni.” In addition to The Forgotten Father of Notre Dame Football, Pat has published two other books under the pen name Patrick Xavier: From Which We Stem - a fast-paced fictional work of legal-medical suspense; and We Were the Fighting Irish: Will Notre Dame Reclaim the Glory of Her Name?, a non-fiction work of cultural history.
