Pedram Ataee is a seasoned AI leader based in Vancouver, Canada. In 2013, he received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia. Pedram finished his doctorate studies working on developing a smart bionic device. Dr. Ataee invented a breakthrough AI algorithm with several US patents. The algorithm was shipped on a wearable gadget to more than a hundred thousand users worldwide. The patents were acquired by Facebook Inc. and are currently alive under Facebook ownership. Pedram joined Shenasa venture capital firm as a director of technology, where he was in charge of working with many technopreneurs to enhance their development and growth strategy. He is on a mission to inspire the next generation of innovators by sharing the foremost lessons that he has learned over the years.
