Author and historian Penny Legg is the author of twelve non-fiction titles, with more on the way shortly, including a new book of hints and tips for writers. She is a popular public speaker on cruise ships and for associations such as the Women's Institute. She has a wide repertoire of entertaining subjects, ranging from the history of Southampton and British folklore to military and WW2 history. Penny is also an award-winning magazine editor and a University lecturer. As an Author Coach, Penny works with beginner writers to help them achieve their writing potential. She is the Author Coordinator of The War and Peace Revival, the world's largest military vehicle and vintage lifestyle show, and is a founding member of SO:To Speak, Southampton's festival of words. Penny is a member of The Society of Authors, the National Union of Journalists and the Society of Young Publishers. Never one to let the grass grow under her feet, she gained an MA in Publishing from Kingston University, London in 2018, co-establishing Sabrestorm Stories, her publishing company, with a business partner in 2019.
