Peter L. Dwares was raised in Providence, Rhode Island. A graduate of Wharton School of Finance and Washington College of Law at American University, Peter earned a Masters in Tax from Georgetown Law Center. He passed the bar in several states while working at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington D.C. Peter moved to San Francisco where he practiced law. He began investing in property and began his second career as a turn around commercial real estate investor-developer. He founded Pathways for Kids, a nonprofit organization for inner-city children. In honor of his father, since 1980, Peter hosts Nathan’s Day, an annual holiday event for children adopted by AASK (Adopt a Special Kid). He continues to be a deal maker, spends time with his family, travels, and is a doer of good deeds.
