I am a fan and creator of fantastic fiction: sci-fi, fantasy, horror, action-adventure, mystery, western... if it falls outside the realm of everyday life, I probably write it. I look to the roots of 20th Century "disposable" entertainment for my inspiration: the pulp magazines, newspaper comic strips, cliffhanger movie serials, and radio dramas. These four media spawned everything from the superhero comic book to the big-budget summer action blockbuster, but I think that a great deal of their plot-driven escapism has been lost over the years. I have self-published and written my own blog, as well as contributing to some short story anthologies and podcasts, and some independent comic book publishers.
