Philip Guenaga is a Christian author, teacher, and U.S. Army veteran whose life and ministry have been marked by a deep passion for helping people move beyond religion into a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. Raised in a home where faith was present but often clouded by confusion and hardship, Philip experienced first-hand the difference between knowing about God and truly knowing Him. His powerful personal testimony of overcoming abuse, brokenness, and years of searching for truth has shaped his calling to write and minister to others who long for authentic faith.

For more than three decades, Philip has studied the Scriptures, prayed with those in need, and shared his insights with believers from all walks of life. His writing blends biblical truth, practical wisdom, and heartfelt storytelling to challenge readers to look past traditions and discover the life-changing presence of God for themselves. In his book, In Church for 40 Years and Not Knowing God, Philip addresses common misconceptions, explores overlooked truths of the Bible, and invites readers into a deeper spiritual walk through honesty, humility, and Scripture-based teaching.

Beyond writing, Philip treasures his family life. He and his wife, Reyna, his partner in faith and in life for over 35 years, have raised two sons and continue to serve as living examples of God’s restoring grace. Reyna also contributed her artistic gifts by illustrating his book.

Philip’s mission as an author is simple yet profound: to provoke believers to open their Bibles, seek God personally, and experience the power of His love beyond religion. Through his testimony, biblical insights, and uncompromising faith, Philip seeks to inspire readers to walk boldly with Christ and discover the abundant life promised in Scripture.
