Porter Braswell graduated from The Lawrenceville School in 2007 and from Yale University in 2011. He was a three-year starting point guard on the Yale men's varsity basketball team and received the senior leadership award during his final season. Porter was awarded the prestigious Richter Fellowship from Yale University during his sophomore year, which is awarded for independent study and research.
