Born writing, kept writing, still writing... That's the short story. The official story is the proverbial blurb: QUENDRITH JOHNSON is an author, journalist, screenwriter, and graduate of UCLA Film School, where she won the Marty Klein Comedy Award from APA, and a nod in UCLA’s Samuel Goldwyn Awards. She’s a Nicholl Semi-finalist for script “Jazz Age Doll,” and wrote “The Wendy Years (1977-1987)” in 2015. Her work has appeared in Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, DGA Magazine, and many other outlets. Quendrith has written two books, REDLIGHT, GREENLIGHT, LIMELIGHT, Hollywood Journalism 101; and a novel about David Foster Wallace, entitled DFW’s Posthumous Masterclass. In 2021 she wrote "The Lightbulb Gardener" which is the first in a trilogy (all books are available on Amazon.com).
