Rae Pica has been an early childhood education consultant (www.raepica.com) for over four decades. A former adjunct instructor with the University of New Hampshire, she is the author of 21 books, including the text Experiences in Movement and Music, in its 5th edition; the award-winning Great Games for Young Children and Jump into Literacy; and What If Everybody Understood Child Development?: Straight Talk About Bettering Education and Children's Lives. Rae is known for her lively and informative keynotes and workshops, presented both virtually and in person. She has shared her expertise with such groups as the Sesame Street Research Department, the Head Start Bureau, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and state health departments, resource and referral agencies, and school districts throughout North America. Internationally known as a speaker, blogger, and online course creator, Rae's mission is to ensure children have the chance to be children and that child development guides all of our practices with the little ones.
