Ralph Cissne is the author of the short story collection Prudence in Hollywood and Other Stories, the novel Angel City Singles, and the poetry collection Don’t Be Shy. An award-winning poet, his short stories have appeared in publications such as American Way and Playboy. A native Californian, Cissne grew up in a military family and graduated from The University of Oklahoma School of Journalism. He lives in Oklahoma where he writes, plays golf, and volunteers as a creative life skills mentor. Cissne is a member of The Author’s Guild and a lifetime member of the National Eagle Scout Association. Cissne has edited and published the work of his mentor Frank Natale including Meet Your Self; The Circle of Life; Results: The Willingness to Create; Natale Trance Dance; Relationships for Life; and The Wisdom of Midlife. He also edited Restorative Yoga Therapy by Leeann Carey, his friend and teacher. A lifelong advocate of yoga, Cissne is the author of Will of Golf, Mastering the Mind-Body Connection and many articles on health and fitness.
