Hi Everyone. I was born and raised in California, enjoying hiking and boating, and playing in the waves. I have a bachelor's degree from Pepperdine University in Public Relations. But I don't like PR so I got a master's in Psychology and became a marriage and family therapist in 1998. I am a psychotherapist by profession and a compassionate, intuitive healer by gifting. I have specialized in treating eating disorders for 30 years in private practice, residential treatment, and day treatment settings. I am a wife of 33 years, mother of three grown children, and grandmother to three grandsons. I have been a seeker of God most of my life despite growing up in a home full of addiction and abuse where God was not usually honored. Through Christian principles and psychological applications, I achieved substantial personal healing and breakthrough from life's griefs and trauma. As an adult, I have dedicated much of my life to pursuing a relationship with Jesus, and I raised my children to do the same. Long Live Love is a culmination of my life's work and God's work in me so far. There is always more freedom to enjoy, whether from bitterness or anxiety or, more importantly, the freedom to love more. I walk the reader through my process of finding freedom, simultaneously coaxing them to walk the same way and enjoy true freedom. Please come along.
