Richard Dixon was born in Derbyshire, England 1964. "If my life was chartered it would look like a heart attack". Having overcome a difficult childhood at the hands of an abusive alcoholic father, he found success as an Industrial Explosion Protection Engineer at a blue chip world leading company. A sudden unexpected illness lead to death in 1999 at the age of 34. Although being revived he was left with a life-changing disability and told he would never walk again. With true determination, mindset and belief he fought Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and depression including physical pain to overcome unbelievable challenges that life cruelly dealt, including teaching himself to walk again! In the face of adversity he has become a successful entrepreneur, author, speaker and coach wanting to share his experiential learning, helping others to overcome life's challenges. He is married with two adult sons and has his first grandchild on the way! Richard is a keen motorcyclist, dotes on his English Springer Spaniel "Lulu" and loves travelling.
