Richard A. Stanley is an independently published author living in a quiet corner of Norwich, UK. Growing up in the 80’s he was spoilt for choice when it came to slasher movies to watch. However, it was the golden age of horror movies that became a life-long obsession for him. If it had Vincent Price running around in an old dark house, it was essential viewing. Whilst other children read Roald Dahl, Richard could be found reading the spine-tingling works of M.R. James, Henry James and Edgar Allan Poe. Having been surrounded by such content it was only a matter of time before he would publish his own works. In 2021 his debut publication “The Dark Wave” was released. A haunting story reminiscent of the traditional Victorian ghost story telling tradition. His immersion and fascination with horror and mystery is set to continue with upcoming publications on the horizon.
