Ronald Smokey Stevens, veteran of Broadway, Television, Film, and stages around the world is the critically acclaimed recipient of The 11th Annual NAACP Theater Arts Award, The 49th Annual Vivian Robinson Audelco Retrospective Recognition Award for Theater Excellence for his creation of the Broadway Musical " Rollin' on the TOBA, A Tribute to the last days of Black Vaudeville", where he served as Co-Creator, Director, Choreographer and Star. He's also appeared on Broadway in " Bubbling Brown Sugar" " Inacent Black " " Dreamgirls" " Ain't Misbehavin". His film credits include " The Wiz" with Micheal Jackson, The Cotton Club (Encore), and " Times Square" Smokey has produced and filmed 4 short documentaries, and is the Artistic director of The Capital City Readers Theater.
