Roy Daine is new to the world of writing and literature. His first book "The Little Red King" is a children's story dedicated to his son Ruairi. Born prematurely on the 18th of March 2025, Ruairi sadly passed that same day.

Roy's hope is that Ruairi's story "The Little Red King" will bring a little comfort to parents that have also lost a child, alongside grandparents, aunties, uncles, cousins, and siblings, and hopefully a little magic and wonder along the way as well.

"The Little Red King" was first published in 2025 and currently available only as an audio book alongside a Kindle edition. Illustrated editions will be released for general purchase on Amazon before the end of the year.

All, and any royalties received for "The Little Red King" will be donated to the wonderful Honeysuckle Unit in Liverpool Women's hospital.
