AWARDS WINNER! Hailing from humble beginnings, author S.D. Moore is the embodiment of the little engine that could. S.D. Moore is an author and screenwriter who writes in spite of being a brain damaged, heart damaged Air Force veteran who also battles Lupus. She writes in spite of a physical injury incurred during military service that left the use of only one half of the brain's communication sector. Moore is the screenwriter of the award winning screenplay LEAPERS which won Best Feature Script and Best of the Fest Script in the 2020 Boobs and Blood Film Festival, Best Horror Screenplay in the Los Angeles Film Awards 2020. Leapers are creatures in her award winning horror novel Wicked Prayers. She is also the screenwriter of the award winning screenplay, Perfectly Normal in Flagstaff which was nominated for Best Screenplay in CIFF 2020, won Best Adapted Work in LVBFF 2019, Best Feature Script in the 2018 Top Indie Film Awards and a 2018 Silver Screen award in the Nevada International Film Festival. S.D. is also the author of the action packed, intense horror novel Wicked Prayers which won First Place in Readers' Favorite International Book Competition. She also authored The Adventures of PJ and Split Pea which won a first prize Reader Views Award and the workbook Basics to Business: Minding Your Business with Excel. S.D. Moore is also the patented inventor of the Portable Hot Sink System. Her love of science and tinkering was the inspiration for the science fiction weaponry in the dark novel Wicked Prayers. She is a retired member of the United States Air Force. S.D. Moore has earned several honors and degrees which include a "Who's Who Among Colleges and Universities" award, ABD status towards a Doctorate in Education and holds a dual master's degrees in Management and Human Resources Development.
