Born and raised in the hills of West Virginia, S. J. Wells loves God, her family, and books in that order. She has been writing since she was eight years old. A preacher's wife, she homeschools her two daughters and often enlists their help when creating new characters. In her spare time she loves to read, listen to music, bake and crochet. On Sunday mornings she can be found behind the piano at church during praise and worship. When it comes to her books, she says, "If I can just give my readers a glimpse into the breadth and length, depth and height of the love of God, then I will consider it a job well done."
