Sam Jarman is a professional golfer, coach, author and speaker. He played full time tournament golf for ten years, before he realised that helping other golfers to stop make the same mistakes he was making could be more enjoyable and more lucrative than continuing to make them himself. His first book 'The Three Principles of Outstanding Golf' is a fifty thousand word summary of the most significant thing he has learned; keep it simple. "I finally saw the reason I was struggling to be the golfer I wanted to be. I also saw that the misunderstanding which prevents golfers from performing to their potential, is also responsible for the stress, worry, anxiety, boredom and lack of fulfillment which many people endure in their day to day lives. We all have it inside us to be the people we want to be, but something keeps getting in the way. I much prefer it when the people I know and like are enjoying what they do, so when I’m not playing tournaments, I help other golfers play better, learn better, work better,​ and live better. When we really understand that our experience comes from what we think about rather than our circumstances, it frees us to be more inspired and productive, to enjoy life and work rather than endure them, and to be our best selves more often." Sam lives near Woburn Golf Club in Buckinghamshire with Daisy, a pretty but slightly unreliable cocker spaniel. When he isn't teaching, writing or playing golf he spends his time salmon fishing, skiing, reading, poker or enjoying the odd pint of Guinness.
