Sam Peters is a former national newspaper reporter credited with driving cultural change in sport's attitude towards brain injuries and concussion. In 2014 Sam was shortlisted as sports journalist of the year at the UK Press Gazette Awards and runner-up as rugby writer of the year at the 2017 Sports Journalists Association Awards. Sam has written two books, 'Broadside' and 'The Row to Recovery', and is currently working on his third, titled 'Concussed; Sports Uncomfortable Truth' set to be published in August 2023 by Atlantic Books. As well as a devout sports fan, Sam is a nature-lover and environmental campaigner who co-owns Planted; an events and media platform promoting nature-based businesses.
