Sandra Bargeron, PA-C, CAA has spent over twenty years with one foot in the operating room and the other in the world of natural medicine. As a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant, she has administered anesthesia to thousands of patients. As a licensed Physician Assistant since 2004, with advanced training in root-cause medicine, she has helped families recover from complex chronic conditions using science-backed approaches.
After close to two decades working in anesthesia, Sandra noticed something her colleagues weren't talking about: some patients bounced back from surgery quickly, while others struggled with brain fog, memory loss, and emotional changes for weeks or months. She started asking why. That question became deeply personal when her own son developed severe neurologic Lyme disease following a childhood surgery, launching her family on a years-long journey that transformed everything she thought she knew about the body's capacity to heal.
Sandra is the founder of Beyond Brain Health™ and the creator of the HARP™ (Holistic Anesthesia Recovery & Preparation) framework and the Neurologic Stress & Recovery Index™ (NSRI™), a first-of-its-kind tool that measures the brain's readiness to handle neurologic stress before it happens. Her mission is simple: help families walk into hard medical moments prepared, not just hopeful, and walk out with their brain health protected.
She is a speaker, podcaster, educator, and mother of five living in Colorado Springs, where she spends her free time hiking, skiing, and paddleboarding with her family.
