Sandy Franks, born May 1959 is a writer, author, and marketer. She started her writing career as a publisher for one of the largest privately owned publishing companies, Agora, Inc. based in Baltimore, MD. While there she wrote dozens of articles, white papers, special reports and authored two books, Barbarians of Wealth and Barbarians of Oil. After 28 years, Sandy retired from her role as publisher in 2015. But she hasn't given up her love of writing. Today, she spends her time coaching "wanna-be" writers on how to turn their dreams into a reality. When she's not busy grooming fellow writers, she spends the rest of her free time researching and sharing inspiring and motivational stories on her personal blog, The Women's Financial Alliance (WFA) First started as a way to help women gain financial independence, Sandy expanded the WFA to cover other areas that are equally important to women including health, family & personal relationships, career and business advice.
