My main focus in my novels is to write characters that readers can resonate with. I want to meet the reader right where they are. Although my genre is African American fiction, I believe every one can relate to the characters and their situations. I keep it real, rather its writing about the wino on the corner, or the drama in a relationship. My ultimate goal is to put a spin on stories that leave the reader wanting more. My hope is that my pages, whether paper or electronic will get into the hands of readers worldwide.
