Growing up the youngest of 3 kids in a Navy family my imagination proved a best friend during long days when I was too young to go with my brothers. That imagination flourished shortly after my medical discharge from the US Marines, when we owned a small pizza restaurant and The Dacturian Princess was born. I spent the long hours watching our failing restaurant ferociously hand scribbling the premise for the first half of the story into a 500 page spiral notebook. After completing that first half originally titled “Wait… WHAT?” more than 30 years later in 2022 I began writing a second which turned into the story of the Princess. The two books independently fell dreadfully short of my chapter goal landing them squarely in the “short story” category when I was going for the “novel” category, however after reading them back to back I realized that it was simply two portions of the same story and the chapters required to join the two works wrote themselves. The completion of my first novel was just the start for me though, once I learned how easy Amazon makes it to publish I was inspired to write another. So began the working title “Cops and Killers” an emotional roller coaster of a psychological thriller about a Texas Ranger, an international arms dealer and a pursuit through time itself! However in the brief time that I have been dedicated to writing I have found that I had days where I felt like writing, just not about a narcissistic mass murderer. Thus was born my third writing project “The Shadow from the South”. Having recently begun learning how to be a DM with my group of friends the plot was easy to decide, it became a D&D style adventure then later it morphed into the prologue of the game we are playing. Watch for my titles to populate on Amazon as I grow my skills at spinning irresistible stories into pages of addicting adventure for you to read!
