Sascha Roos is an author and dyslexia specialist in Cork, in the Republic of Ireland. She has been supporting people with the challenges of dyslexia for nearly twenty years, and has an approach that encourages and celebrates the strengths and abilities of the dyslexic individual. Sascha is a member of the Dyslexia Association of Ireland and the Institute of Guidance Counsellors. Her particular interest in the concerns and frustrations of parents and children with dyslexia drew her to write her book 'At Home with Dyslexia: A Parent's Guide to Supporting Your Child', published by Little, Brown Book Group in 2018. 'At Home with Dyslexia' is now also available as an audiobook. Sascha continues to work to transform the negative attitudes towards dyslexia, to raise expectations and to change the language around this learning difference.
