Scott Firsing, PhD, has always been drawn to the stars and the secrets of ancient worlds, passions that shine in his debut novel, which is a bold blend of speculative fiction, current affairs and historical intrigue. Raised in New Jersey in the 1980s, his imagination was sparked by Star Trek, Star Wars, and NASA's Space Shuttle Program, cementing his love for space exploration. His fascination with ancient civilizations, from lost myths to enduring artifacts, adds rich layers to his storytelling, inviting readers to explore the mysteries of both the cosmos and our humanity past and present. With a Doctorate in International Politics, Firsing’s career spans academia, business and diplomacy. He has taught at The Citadel and Monash University, worked with the United Nations and the US State Department, and now leads Scott Sky Advisors in Austin, a global consultancy firm. A world traveler, Firsing brings a global lens to his work, with hundreds of publications and appearances over the past 20+ years on outlets like BBC, CNBC and Forbes.
