I'm a transplanted Cajun, moving from the Sheriffs Office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Indiana, where I worked with the police department in Fort Wayne. I retired from law enforcement in 2013, with a combined 32 years of service. After living in several staes, I ha e returned to my home town on Baton Rouge. I have dabbled in science fiction but my calling, like police work before, was to write crime fiction. 'Strawberry Concrete" is the first published, in a series of novels starring Jack Lefleur, a detective based out of the fictional city of Camp Simmons, Indiana. I am the father of four children and four grand children. When I'm not writing my own work, I assist other authors in developing and formatting stories for publishing. Thanks for your time.
