I'm a transplanted Cajun, moving from the Sheriffs Office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Indiana, where I worked with the police department in Fort Wayne. I retired from law enforcement in 2013, with a combined 32 years of service. i have dabbled in science fiction but my calling, like police work before, was to write crime fiction. 'Strawberry Concrete" is the third in a series of novels starring Jack Lefleur, a detective based out of the fictional city of Camp Simmons, Indiana. I have completed three more wrap around novels that are currently in editing, to be released by years end. I currently reside in Hendersonville, Tennessee. I am the father of four children and four grand children. When I'm not writing, I provide private security for companies in the Nashville area.
