Dr. Scott Poland is a pioneer in school crisis and suicide prevention and the author or co-author of five books and numerous chapters on school crisis. He has led multiple crisis teams after school shootings and suicide clusters and currently is a professor and the Co-Director of the Suicide and Violence Prevention Office at Nova Southeastern University. He was previously the President of the National Association of School Psychologists and is a past Prevention Division Director for the American Association of Suicidology.
