DR. SCOTT TURANSKY is a professor at Concordia University, teaching Masters Level students getting a Family Life Education degree, and the author of 15 books on Parenting. Scott is the cofounder of the National Center for Biblical Parenting and the teaching pastor at GraceWay Bible Church. He is a counselor and seminar speaker and lives in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He and his wife Carrie have five children and eleven grandchildren. Scott is committed to helping families using a Heart-based approach. Many parents use behavior modification to try to change their kids, Scott believes that approach is lacking because it doesn't consider the fact that God created every person with a heart. That realization opens new avenues to help parents effectively work with their kids.
