SEAN HAMMER was born in Washington, DC and raised in nearby Silver Spring, Maryland. He is a graduate of Boston University, The Johns Hopkins University, and holds an MFA in Fiction from Hunter College, where he studied with Peter Carey, Téa Obreht, Roxana Robinson, and Colum McCann. His writing has been published in Kindle Singles, The Penn Review, The Prague Revue, and Mid-American Review, among others. At the time of writing he's in Portugal, but he more or less lives in New York City.
