A native Californian, Shane Chapa served with the U.S. Army in the Middle East. He later worked as a licensed contractor and now calls Phoenix, Arizona home. With a love of words and story-telling skills inspired by a 1st place prize in his 6th-grade statewide writing contest, Shane believes in connecting with his readers on the most vulnerable and sometimes painfully candid levels. When he’s not on job sites, sharing his thoughts via his online blog, or working on his next book, this proud father of two hikes the rugged mountains surrounding Phoenix, gathering the inspiration and strength to take his writing to “the next level.” Shane is available for private consultations and for compelling speaking engagements where he shares the tactics, methods, and mindset behind his personal fulfillment and success while living with a lifelong speech impediment.
