Sharon Frances is an indie author for children, teens and families. She is a twenty five year educator and teacher educator with expertise in arts education, language arts and social justice. Sharon has worked with students, teachers, and families to support gender diversity and LGBTQ+ inclusion in preK-12 schools, and created a resource for families impacted by cancer called Well Beings Studio, with free arts, media and literature resources. She/they donated over 6,000 books to families as part of that project. Sharon loves to write poetry and magical realism about brave self exploration in the face of hardship.
