Shawn Christian, M.D. is a Doctor of Medicine, an entrepreneur, author, and the founder of CONFIDENCEIATRY®. Dr. Christian’s interest in confidence emanates from his school days, when he found that he became incredibly nervous and was plagued with fear and self-doubt any time he had to speak in front of a group, make a presentation, or attend a social gathering. He initially put this down to shyness and nerves, but gradually came to understand that it was in fact a lack of confidence. He set about investigating the reasons for it and began researching ways to improve confidence, self-esteem and overcome fear, doubts, and negativity. Dr. Christian’s ambitions for the future are to help people increase their confidence and motivate them though their entire personal development process, using his extensive experience in neurology, psychiatry and behavioral science.
