Sheila Cox is a Harvard-educated speaker, change management consultant, and co-author of the new book "The Technology Takers: Managing Change in the Digital Era". She leads transformational change at the intersection of technology and human behavior. After earning a BA in Psychology from Harvard, Ms. Cox became a systems engineer at IBM, designing and implementing application software. A pioneer in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), Ms Cox was part of the IBM programming team that developed COPICS (Communication-Oriented Production Information Control System). While working at IBM, she earned an MBA at the University of Chicago. Along with two colleagues, Ms Cox created and led the organizational change management practice at KPMG/BearingPoint. Combining hands-on experience in information systems implementation with an in-depth understanding of organizational, team, and individual behavior, Ms. Cox founded Performance Horizons, a change management firm.
