I was born on a strange planet where controlling seems to be more important than creating, and where you are forced to kill and eat other living things, just to survive. I spent my early life in retarded school, yeah that’s what they called it back in the 40s. And later, when they realized I wasn’t as stupid as I looked, I got to go to reform school. I seemed to have had a bit of an “attitude." My first book was a three-thousand-word masterpiece, a Dick and Jane children story called "Dick and the Steam Shovel" written at age seven and expanded upon trying to get extra credit so I could pass English as a Senior in high school. Didn’t work, never graduated, but it did get me out of high school. My teacher said it was ungradeable or was it “I was incorrigible.” It was so long ago I’m not sure what she really said, but she seemed obsessed with the “moral” of my children story. Apparently children stories need a moral that only adults can relate to. You can hear Dick and the Steam Shovel with a few beers, on my website Stirringneurons.com. Yeah. I voice it there, so you can hear my rage, absolutely free, hell by now, it must be public domain, anyway. The moral problem in the book is, I think, what my teacher called the bad guy (Dick the thief) in the children book, is really the good guy, and the one my teacher thought was the good guy (Detective Dick) in the children book, is really the bad guy. My next book was the Autobiograffiti of Grandville Rodriquez, about a Mexican scientist who found a way to utterly destroy the power structure of the Gringo. Sometimes I call it the Outlaw Who Saved the World. It is flooded with dead pan humor, something that makes this Earth's uncooperative, loathing, greedy people and their effort to devastate the good cooperative people, a bit more palatable. I self-publish it December 11th, 2018. Then I decided to write the story of the Cosmos, with all its universes and all its stars and all its galaxies and all its quasars and all its subatomic particles etc. A rather comprehensive endeavor called the rather long, and deservedly a proper name for such an immense endeavor, "the Saga of the Mighty Valentine Cosmos Upon the Tower of Time." I wanted to include everything in that book. It's a detailed, obviously condensed history, of our entire Cosmos? It has a great deal of pathos in it and haunting songs from the universe of living stars that you can hear on my website stirringneurons.com. It too, came out December 11th 2018. Then Trump got elected President of the United States of America. Somehow, I missed putting him in the history of the Cosmos. I just didn’t expect him to be there, so I wrote the Radio Revolution book to fill the omission and hopefully turn America upside down and turn it into a real democracy. I rushed it out early, October 20th, 2017, because of the Presidential disaster. It is based on a radio station I created, Radio Free Hawaii, in Honolulu, voted one of the top five stations in America in medium markets by the readers of Rolling Stone Magazine every year they ran the poll. Even though it closed twenty years ago, there is a facebook site called, "I Loved Radio Free Hawaii," lamenting and remembers the years of Radio Free Hawaii. You can hear this book on Audible.com and I tunes. Solana Rehne (Pinkie Passion on the radio) and I have written the movie script, keep your eyes open for that. It'll be the American Graffiti of the eighties/nineties with the theme of bringing down corporate radio and turning it over to the masses through a ballot system. Anyway, a lot of diversity, and a lot of new thoughts, and hopefully, a fun, entertaining listening, seeing and reading.
