Dr. Shilpi Pradhan is a board-certified Ophthalmologist and board-certified Lifestyle Medicine doctor, mother of four beautiful children, and personal finance and real estate enthusiast. She’s interested in the impact Lifestyle Medicine can make on eye diseases and overall health. Dr. Pradhan went to Emory University, Atlanta, GA for college, and Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis, MO for medical school. Her training included a transitional year at Carilion Health Systems in Roanoke, VA, an Ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, and a Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. She has also been Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO, and loved teaching residents before moving to Virginia. She owns her solo private practice, Eye Doctor MD PC in Glen Allen, VA since 2015, and practices Ophthalmology with Lifestyle Medicine education for her patients. She also completed the Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from eCornell and the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies in 2019. She has also helped her children publish their books on Amazon including Tara the Dolphin and Summer Fun Unmasked by Shreya Pradhan, Pebble the Penguin by Ankit Pradhan, and Ocean ABCs by Shreya, Ankit and myself.
