Sophie Williams is an ex global Leader at Netflix, and has held the titles of COO and CFO in London advertising agencies. She is a speaker, the author of The Glass Cliff, Millennial Black & Anti-Racist Ally, a TED Speaker (The Glass Cliff – why some leaders aren’t set up for success), and the voice behind Instagram’s @OfficialMillennialBlack. As a speaker, Sophie regularly delivers keynotes, presentations, workshops and training sessions for businesses such as Apple, Amazon, Google, Barclays, the NHS, UK Civil Service, Sky and many universities. She leads frank and necessary discussions around race, gender and the intersection of the two, with a particular focus on Blackness and womaness and their impact on Black women’s lived experiences in the workplace.
