Starla Kaye is a romantic, with a playful, sensual side. She likes strong women who aren’t afraid to take on challenges. Sometimes those challenges involve butting heads with the reluctant man of her heart. She also likes men confident enough to take on the woman who manages to capture his wary heart. She is a Midwesterner born and raised. That hasn’t kept her from traveling around the United States or outside of it whenever she gets a chance. Her travels have given her tastes of life and settings in many places that she uses in her stories. When she writes in different time periods, she does a lot of research to get a “feel” for the lifestyles and the settings then. She tries to put herself and the reader in the time and place in whatever story she spins. Starla enjoys being a multi-published author of romances in many sub-genres including contemporary, Western, medieval, sci-fi, and Regency. To date, she has published over 90 novels, novellas, and short stories in collections.
