Stephanie Elg was born and raised in the boonies of North Carolina. She received a degree in family life from Brigham Young University. She and her husband, Darren, have settled in Arizona with their four gorgeous children and three yummy grandchildren—a bit biased? No way. Stephanie is passionate in her faith as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her decades-long struggle with depression and anxiety has enhanced her love and empathy for others who walk this path. She has just recently begun to speak more openly about it. She is obsessed with reclaimed wood, chick flicks, crème brûlée, and building happy, safe places for those around her.
