Stephanie Seferian studied journalism in college and spent many years working for community newspapers, but it wasn’t until she began teaching high school literature that she leaned in to her passion for writing. 
 Fast forward a decade (and two kids!): In an effort to marry her passions for eco-friendliness and writing, Stephanie started a blog and, later, a podcast. Stephanie believes incremental minimalism is the key to saving our planet. As such, she offers actionable content on her platforms that inspires listeners to incorporate slow-but-steady tweaks toward sustainability into their daily lives. Her podcast—The Sustainable Minimalists—focuses on demystifying the tenets of eco-minimalism with kids, including ethical decluttering practices, conscious consumerism, and low-waste living. Stephanie lives in the Boston suburbs with her two daughters, a yellow Labrador Retriever, a hive of nearly 10,000 honey bees, and husband who loves to compost almost as much as she does.
