Steven Goldbach is a globally recognized strategist and executive advisor, combining creativity and rigor to help organizations create their own future. Steve helps executives and their teams transform their organizations by making challenging and pragmatic strategy choices in the face of uncertainty. He is an architect, expert practitioner, and teacher of a wide array of strategy and innovation methods and tools. Over a 25+ year career, Steve has served clients across most industries, with an emphasis on industries in transition and consumer-driven sectors. Prior to Deloitte, Steve was a partner at Monitor Group and co-head of its New York office and Director of Strategy at Forbes. Steve is the co-author of the forthcoming book, Provoke: How Leaders Shape the Future by Overcoming Fatal Human Flaws, as well as the national bestseller, Detonate: Why – and how – corporations must blow up best practices (and bring a beginner’s mind) to survive. In 2019 Thinkers50 named Steve as a finalist for the Distinguished Achievement Award in Strategy. Holding business degrees from both Queen's University at Kingston and Columbia Business School, Steve is a member of the Global Advisory Board of the Smith School of Business at Queen's.
