Women's Country continues the story of Lethias, the intelligent gorilla, traveling through the United States as it recovers from a long apocalypse. Steven Popkes is an American Science Fiction/Fantasy writer. A Nebula Finalist, his short fiction has been collected in Year’s Best Science Fiction, Year’s Best Fantasy, and others. His most recent collection, Looking Up, Looking Down, is available both in ebook and print form. By day, Steven Popkes is an aerospace engineer. He lives near Boston with his family and is a private pilot.
