Steven Selikoff is a serial entrepreneur whose products have sold online (including Amazon Seller and Amazon Vendor) in catalogs, and in retailers all over the world. He started selling unique products to retailers in 2001 and developing products in China in 2005. His products have been on the Today Show, Good Morning America, Fox Business News, in USA Today, Paris Vogue, House Beautiful, and other magazines. One of his products was even in the gift bags at the Oscars. Steven was formerly Global Business Manager at Microsoft for Worldwide Retail Sales & Marketing, and has taught and lectured on Negotiation Techniques, Product Development, Lean Validation, and Selling-To-Retailers across the globe. Steven founded the Product Development Academy, a high-touch concierge program which teaches entrepreneurs how to develop products and build brands with proven customer demand, leading to success across all sales channels including online platforms and retailers’ shelves. His book bestselling book, The COMPLETE BOOK of Product Design, Development, Manufacturing, and Sales is the number one resource for product entrepreneurs and introduced a new product development model specifically for SMB and entrepreneurs. Notably, this business model is not limited to ecommerce and focuses on building a product-based company that sells across all retail channels including in-store retail. TOP TWELVE TIPS for Product Development and Sales is a short overview of The COMPLETE BOOK and is a great introduction to a ‘non-FBA’ approach to product sales across all retailers. The Canton Fair WORKBOOK is a low content book with fill-in-the-blank templates for supplier conversations and factory visits. Steven currently lives in Seattle Washington and when he is not working, he enjoys writing, photography and glass blowing.
