Since 1986, I have been following the shamanic path, working with sweat lodges, trance dance, drum journeys, medicine wheel rituals, and other traditional methods of consciousness work.

In 2003, I met a Peruvian healer who invited me to take part in a traditional curandero dieta in the Amazon rainforest. There I deepened my experience with Ayahuasca, San Pedro, and other psychoactive plants within the context of guided shamanic ceremonies.

These experiences led me to a central question: How can consciousness-altering plants be integrated into Western culture in a way that supports self-knowledge, healing, and personal development rather than mere consumption?

Over time, cannabis became an increasingly important focus of my work. It is one of the most widely used psychoactive plants in our society and at the same time holds considerable medical, psychological, and spiritual potential. I therefore began to explore and develop new approaches to a more conscious, responsible, and healing relationship with cannabis.

Today, cannabis is increasingly recognized worldwide as a medicinal plant, while its legal status continues to change. Yet many people, including therapists and practitioners, still lack a practical key to accessing the full range of its potential in a conscious and responsible way.

Through my books, seminars, and teaching methods, I aim to contribute to a new understanding of cannabis: not merely as a recreational substance, but as a possible teacher plant, a tool for self-awareness, and a companion on a path of conscious personal development.

Cannabis can be far more than what our culture has so far made of it.
