SUSAN BOWMAN has served the body of Christ as a minister of inner healing and deliverance for more than 20 years. Over time, she realized that many people seeking emotional and spiritual healing left counseling sessions frustrated and unable to apply or sustain the advice they had received. The prison of sinful habits, relationship disasters and the resultant torment appeared to be inescapable. Something essential was missing from both traditional and prophetic approaches to healing and freedom. Susan began looking deeply into the biblical passages about the importance of the heart while also studying the scientific research being conducted on the human heart. From the research she learned that patterns from early life are stored within the heart. These patterns control how we see ourselves, others and life. This research aligned perfectly with Proverbs 4:23 that instructs us to Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life (NLT). Armed with this information, Susan developed a heart-based approach to inner healing and deliverance. This heart-based approach has proven to be the key that makes it possible to receive and sustain life-changing inner healing.
